Pelvic Floor Therapy is a very patient specific treatment.  The following are treatment options that can be done with Dr. Kristina.  To best determine what your therapy needs are for in-office and home therapy, please call and schedule an appointment.  No referrals are needed, yet any information or tests from your primary care MD, OBGYN, or Urologist are very helpful to help determine the best individualized care for you!

If you have specific questions, please feel free to email [email protected] to help answer your questions regarding this type of therapy.

No referral needed.  We do bill insurances.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What age is this therapy for?

Any age can have pelvic floor dysfunction, from a variety of causes.  Depending on the patients symptoms, age and sex, their treatment will be modified to best and comfortably treat their symptoms.

Do I have to have Internal therapy?

No.  If internal therapy is recommended, it is the most accurate evaluation and treatment, yet Dr. Kristina will be happy to modify your treatment so that you feel the most comfortable, yet get the results you came for.  Prenatal treatments and Pediatric treatments are always external.

Do I have to get a referral from my primary care physician?

No referral is needed. Dr. Kristina encourages her patients to bring as much information with you to your appointment, and can easily obtain the needed information from your Doctor (with the patient's consent). Dr. Kristina can also order prescribed imaging or tests to be done if needed.

Items to bring if you have them: Reports from your other Doctors, MRI / Xray reports and CD, test results, chart notes from other Doctors or Therapists, etc.

Do you bill my insurance?

Yes. We will verify and bill your insurance for you, and let you know of your benefits before your visit.
